Step 1
In the Property Profile, click onto the Lease tab
Step 2
You will see the Activate button in the lease section. Once you're ready to start processing rent, you can click this to start the lease. If it's a new tenancy, you will only be able to active the lease once the tenant has paid their deposit/first months rent.
You will receive a notification once it has been received.
Step 3
If this is a new tenancy or a lease renewal, you may be collecting a fee. Simply confirm in the pop up which type of fee you would like to charge and the app will automatically create a draft bill for the owner.
If no fee is being collected, just un-check both boxes and Activate
Your lease is now active and the Transaction tab will be populated with the next rental payments automatically.
