Once a maintenance request has been accepted, you can create a job by clicking the Start Job button.

On the job type screen, select Collect Some Quotes then Next.

If you have any additional information that will help the trade, you can add that here, for example, past photos from a routine, or a PDF copy of a user manual etc.

Next, you need to select the job type so it is sent to the right tradies. You can add multiple job types here if the work covered more than one trade type.

Finally, you can add a budget for the job if you want to give the trades an indicator of how much the owner is looking to spend. This is an optional step.

Once all your information has been added, click Next.

The Managed Marketplace will now alert nearby trades letting them know a job is available in their service area. They will be able to submit quotes however will require approval prior to proceeding with the job. They won't see any access details or contact information until after their quote is accepted.

If you would also like your preferred tradie to be sent the quote request directly, you can add them to the job. They will receive all the job details and a link to add their price.

You will now see the open job on the task, be able to chat with the tradie and will also be prompted if any marketplace trades add a quote.

To get started, you will need to accept a quote. You can review the profile of all trades who have quoted by clicking their name.

Hint: If your preferred tradie isn't that great with tech, you can add their quoted price on their behalf by clicking Edit

If you would like your owner to review the quotes, you can send them a link to view all prices. They can then accept one themselves, or add a reply should they need further information from the agency. When you have chosen a tradie, click Accept to assign the job to them.

The tradie will now be instructed to proceed with their quoted works. All other trades will be declined and receive an alert they were unsuccessful this time.
