If you need to swap a profile to be the primary tenant on a lease, chances are you are receiving an error that the user already exists. It might be due to them being the current Other Tenant or the email address might be in use by another profile in the app.
Ask the current primary tenant to delete any payment methods in their profile.
Add a '+' in front of both emails. You can do this by clicking Edit in the tenant's profile. Click Save once updated
You can now change all the details for the primary tenant profile to match the new primary tenant information and then click Save. Remember to use their actual email address, not the placeholder created above. You can then do the same for any additional old primary tenant who is now an Other Tenant.
