What is a wallet?

Everyone with a Managed App profile gets a Managed App Wallet to facilitate their payments.

Every user (agency, owner, tenant, and tradie) has what we call a 'Wallet' - which is just a fancy term for a digital bank account (think Paypal wallet, Uber Cash, etc).

Funds can be sent into wallets, paid between wallets, and taken out of wallets to another bank account.

This is like getting paid into your savings account, transferring to your spending account, and buying something for yourself - your wallet is just another account for you to use.

As a property manager, you can see wallet balances for all users and properties.

The tenant's wallet shows any funds that have not been used to pay for rent or bills yet. Perhaps there is no rent or bills due right now, or they may not have enough money to pay the invoice so the app will wait for them to top up their wallet.

The owners property wallet is found on the transactions tab and shows any money being used for expenses or until the owner wants it disbursed.

The owner wallet is really only used when money can't be disbursed (maybe they have not added a bank account or the account details are incorrect)

If you see money in here, then something is wrong. Check to ensure there is bank account added to each property they own and if trhere is, contact support.
