Please note: The below steps are to be followed to swap the primary and secondary owner. Please do not follow the below steps to set up a new owner.
To set up a new owner of a property after a sale, please follow these steps: We sold a property, how do we set up the new owner? (Property Manager)
Step 1
Click on the property, then click Edit on the Overview page
Step 2
Ensure your secondary owner is already added to the property, in the case they are not, please click Add Owner.
Step 3
Click Enable Split Payments
Then swap the percentage of ownership.
Primary Owner: 0%
Secondary Owner: 100%
Step 4
Click Save and you will now see that the ownerships have been swapped on the Overview page.
Please note: You will require the new primary owner to add in their bank details to their profile to receive future disbursements.
