Follow these steps to view, add & remove a rental increase/decrease for a lease

Adding a rental increase/decrease

Step 1

On the property, click the Lease tab and then Adjust Rent

Step 2

Enter the rental amount, effective from date & reason for change. Once entered, click Save

The Adjust Rent function is used to issue rent increases or reduce rental amounts.

Remember, you cannot change the rent mid-cycle. If you need to do that, terminate the lease and start a new one from the change date at the new rate.

Viewing a rental increase/decrease

Step 1

To view a past/future rental increase, please click on the lease tab and view the Rental Adjustment History.

  • Any past increases/decreases that have taken effect will show a green tick βœ…

  • Any future increases/decreases that have not taken effect will have a red cross ❌

Deleting a future a rental increase/decrease

Step 1

To delete a past/future rental increase, please click on the lease tab and view the Rental Adjustment History.

Step 2

Click the cross icon next to the future rental adjustment and confirm your action.

This will delete your rental increase entered.

Please note, that only future rental increases can be deleted.
