When agencies sign a tenancy agreement, the payment frequency for that tenancy is often set at that point. If for some reason the frequency in Managed App is different, or perhaps there is a mutual agreement to change the frequency, you will need to terminate the current lease, and add a new one.
Step 1
Terminate the current lease as at the paid-to date.
Step 2
On the Lease tab, scroll down to the Upcoming Lease section and enter all the same tenancy information as above - with the only change being the payment frequency.
You will be starting this new payment frequency from the day after your terminated the old lease for example if a tenant was paying $500 weekly and was paid to the 23rd March, their new lease will be $1000 per fortnight and the first payment date will be the 24th March
The tenant does not need to set up anything in Managed, they can now just pay the $1000 per fortnight
